to Benefit CASA of Kern County

The Court
Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Kern County have again
partnered with local schools and the Bakersfield Condors for the
AKids
Helping Kids@
campaign.
Fours schools
are participating this year: Van Horn Elementary School is
in their 3rd year partnering with CASA,
Panama Elementary School is in their 2nd year with
Sing Lum and Stockdale Elementary Schools new to the
"Kids Helping Kids" campaign this year.
The Campaign
begins at each school with two assemblies where the children learn
and sing a song called
AKids
Helping Kids@
written by Sharon Casey and Colleen McGauley, the CASA Executive
Director, specifically for the campaign.
The kids are
saving their pennies during the year and will donate them to
CASA at the Light of Hope Ceremony on April 7, 2005 at the
Marketplace.
